Interact at IRHS

Take action, build international understanding, and make new friends.

Develop your leadership skills while you discover the power of Service Above Self, and find out how serious leadership can be seriously fun! An Interact club is a Rotary club sponsored organization of people, ages 12 to 18, whose purpose is to provide opportunity for them to work together in a world fellowship dedicated to service and international understanding and leadership development skills.

What’s involved?

You can celebrate the global impact of Interact by getting involved in: World Interact Week, Interact Video Awards, Rotary Youth Day at the United Nations and Global Youth Service Day.

Are you ready?

Interact is sponsored and supported by local Rotary clubs. What is Rotary? I’m so glad you asked!

Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million people of action.

Neighbors, friends, problem-solvers & leaders – who come together to make positive, lasting change at home and abroad. Rotarians have used their passion, energy, and intelligence for sustainable projects for more than 110 years.

Rotary members believe that we have a shared responsibility to take action on our world’s most persistent issues. Our 35,000+ clubs work together to:

> Fight disease
> Save mothers and children
> Support education
> Grow local economies

Where Rotary sees a need, we work to find or create a solution.

Locally, Rotary clubs make a difference every day. The two sponsoring clubs of Indian River High School’s Interact club are Southern Sussex and Long Neck Sunrise.
